Sirens scream down streets chasing forgotten lives
Loose coins rattle deep inside the worn-out denim pocket
Drills gnaw the roadside while cones stake out the damage

Billboards promise sleek success beyond the neon skyline
Someone mutters about rent and silent rules
Men talk cheap golf and safer tips for weekend trades
Women laugh, perfecting the curve of voice

Everyone turns from what they ought to see
Anger stays dry — never rises
But only the night air
Still gently washes away the noise


ひび割れたアスファルトが
また昼の熱を吐き出す
サイレンが通りを裂き
社会から取り残された人々を追いかける
擦り切れたデニムの奥で
小銭がかすかに鳴る
ドリルが舗道を噛み
コーンが傷跡を囲っていく

ネオンの空の向こう
ビルの広告は成功を囃す
誰かが 家賃と暗黙のルールについてぼやいている
男たちは 安いゴルフと週末の無難な投資話を語り合う
女たちは声のトーンを磨くように笑っている

誰もが 本当は見るべきものから目をそらし
怒りは乾いたまま どこにも届かない
けれど 夜の空気だけが
今もなお騒音をそっと洗い流してくれる
