Super Mario Bros. 2 is a platforming game and the sequel to Super Mario Bros. as it was released outside from the Japan. The original Super Mario Bros. 2 for the Famicom Disk System was deemed too similar to the first game and too difficult, which prompted Nintendo to rebrand an existing Nintendo platformer called Doki Doki Panic as a Mario game. The result was something very different in theme and gameplay, but nonetheless had characters that would go on to appear in later Mario games.

For this run, dillthepill08 (https://tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/dillthepill08) takes an unusual approach and beats the game as fast as possible by exploiting a bug in the controller programming and executing arbitrary code via really rapid controller input to allow him to warp directly to the final room from as early as the very first room.
