Ghosts 'n Goblins is an infamously difficult action platformer that was originally developed by Capcom for the arcades. It later saw ports to many game consoles and computers such as the NES, ZX Spectrum, and PC-88. The story is a standard fantasy plot where Sir Arthur goes on a journey to rescue Princess Prin-Prin from the monsters of Astaroth. However, the gameplay is what the game is best known for, as Sir Arthur can only take two hits, the jumping physics are tricky, and the monsters often spawn and gang up on Arthur with no breaks between.
